For local artist Lisa Fannin, the first real life inspiration to draw animals was childhood pet Delilah, a lovable shaggy little dog. 

Lisa relishes each opportunity to celebrate beloved cats in sensitively rendered portraits. With an eye for detail, Lisa will capture your cat’s unique personality. Pastel, her favourite medium, is known for retaining true colour (since the 16th century!) and was used by Impressionists, most notably Degas. Its versatility is ideal for depicting both intricate details and the softness of fur that make Lisa’s portraits come alive.
